Our Purpose
The National Association of Ministry Retreats exists to serve those who serve by making trusted Christian retreat locations easier to find.
NAMR brings together like-minded retreat ministries that share a common commitment to caring for pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders. Each retreat operates independently, while the network provides one clear place to discover locations designed for rest, restoration, and spiritual renewal.
How the Network Works
NAMR functions as a cooperative network, not a centralized retreat provider. Each member retreat manages its own facilities, availability, scheduling, guest communication, and retreat guidelines.
Retreat locations are organized by state to make the search process simple. When a ministry leader finds a retreat that may be a good fit, they are directed to that retreat’s website or contact information to take the next step directly with the ministry.
Who the Network Serves
NAMR serves pastors, missionaries, ministry leaders, and Christian workers seeking time away for rest, reflection, and renewal.
Member retreats offer different settings, accommodations, and ministry approaches, allowing guests to explore locations that fit their season of life, calling, and need for spiritual refreshment.
Across the network, each retreat shares a common desire to care for those serving the Kingdom of God.
Membership in the Network
Membership in NAMR is designed for Christian retreat ministries that desire to cooperate with like-minded retreats serving pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders.
Member retreats retain full independence while participating in a shared effort to make trusted retreat locations easier to find. The network is built on unity, stewardship, service, and care for those in ministry.
